Role of Human Resource Management Transformations in Enhancing Women's Leadership in Universities through Artificial Neural Networks
Abstract: This research investigates the evolving role of Human Resource Management (HRM) in empowering women's leadership within universities, with a specific focus on the University of Jeddah. Utilizing a descriptive approach and artificial neural networks (ANNs) through Python, the study analyzes factors influencing women's leadership performance, including the effectiveness of planning and training programs. The research addresses the challenges women face in achieving work-life balance and potential AI-driven discrimination in the labor market. Employing both quantitative data (e.g., the number of women in leadership roles and promotion rates) and qualitative data (e.g., questionnaires and interviews), the study examines a sample of 60 faculty members from the Colleges of Social Sciences, Media, and Business. The findings demonstrate a statistically significant positive relationship (p < 0.01) between proactive HRM planning and training for future transformations and the enhancement of women's leadership roles in universities. The study validates the hypotheses that strategic planning and training significantly improve women's participation and performance, emphasizing the critical role of forward-thinking HRM in fostering women's leadership in academia.
