ψ⁸: Retentive Topology Before Life Proto-structures of held difference as preconditions for biological form
This paper presents a foundational model of proto-biological emergence based on the ψ⁸ theory of retention. Instead of viewing life as a replication or product of material substrates, we propose that it begins with a held difference (Δψ) structured through internal topologies of stabilization (Ξ). The ψ⁸ proto-embryo is simulated through pseudocode and visualized as a retentive field shaped by local gradients, curvature coefficients, and differential persistence. This architecture precedes form, observer, and classical time — offering a new scientific and ethical lens on the beginning of life.
