Impact of Agribusiness Schemes on Agricultural Growth in India: A Study of Key Government Initiatives
Abstract: In India, the Ministry of Agriculture is essential to increasing agricultural productivity and guaranteeing food security. Acknowledging the difficulties farmers have, it has introduced a number of programs to encourage sustainable farming and increase output. Programs like as the Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (RKVY) strive for comprehensive agricultural growth, while the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) offers direct income assistance. The goal of the National Food Security Mission (NFSM) is to increase the production of basic foods. Keep liberalizing policies in the agriculture sector while protecting against market failures through competitive policies and sensible, efficient, and scientifically grounded environmental and safety standards. For new technologies like fertilizers, biotech plants, and crop protection agents, there has to be a clear regulatory clearance process that is less time-consuming, less expensive, and clear for both the federal and state governments.
