This technical note outlines a re-framing of instinctual behaviour as systemic phase responses within a four-axis symbolic topology: resource load, propagation state, coherence maintenance (Certitude), and uncertainty management (Incertitude). The analysis distinguishes between culturally elevated and culturally suppressed instincts, linking them to structural conditions in modern societies. It critiques anthropocentric and supremacy-based frameworks and introduces a new matrix for understanding latent symbolic dynamics across human and non-human systems.
