ANALYSIS OF AGRICULTURAL ECONOMICS TERMINOLOGY BASED ON ENGLISH-LANGUAGE SOURCES

This paper analyzes key agricultural economics terminology from English sources, translating them into Uzbek and Russian. Our goal is to enhance global knowledge accessibility for students, researchers, and practitioners in Uzbekistan, especially given the rising importance of agricultural transformation. We reviewed academic literature and glossaries from FAO, OECD, and USDA to categorize terms related to production, markets, environment, and policy. The study identifies challenges in translation, including lexical gaps and contextual ambiguities. To address these, we propose developing a trilingual glossary, integrating terminology studies into curricula, and standardizing terms. This research aims to bridge linguistic divides and strengthen Uzbekistan's engagement with the global agricultural community
