INCIDENCE OF UTERINE BODY CANCER IN DIFFERENT AGE GROUPS IN THE FERGHANA REGION

The incidence of gynecological cancers, particularly uterine body cancer, is increasing globally. Among these, endometrial cancer (EC) ranks high in both morbidity and mortality. In recent years, endometrial cancer has emerged as one of the fastest-growing reproductive organ cancers in Uzbekistan. According to the National Oncology and Radiology Center, the incidence rate was 1.6 per 100,000 in 2014, with 5,572 registered cases. By 2017, this rate increased to 1.7 per 100,000. Currently, EC ranks fourth among oncological diseases in women nationwide. In 2022, 850 cases of EC (3.2% of all cancer cases) were identified, with a five-year survival rate of 46.4% [1]. The exact causes for the increasing frequency of EC remain unclear, but risk factors associated with modern civilization contribute to the rise. The relationship between age and cancer remains ambiguous, and the age-related frequency of this disease needs further investigation.

The exact causes for the increasing frequency of EC remain unclear, but risk factors associated with modern civilization contribute to the rise. The relationship between age and cancer remains ambiguous, and the age-related frequency of this disease needs further investigation.
