ANALISIS USAHATANI JAGUNG DI WONOREJO PASURUAN

Abstract. This study aims to analyze the income of maizefarming in Kendang Dukuh Village, Wonorejo District, PasuruanRegency. The research was conducted from February to April2025. A descriptive quantitative method was employed using asurvey approach. A total of 75 maize farmers were selectedrandomly using the Slovin formula from a population of 316farmers. Data were collected through questionnaires and directinterviews.Farming income was calculated by subtracting totalproduction costs from total revenue in one planting season. Theanalysis results showed that the average total revenue perfarmer was Rp.9.000.000, while the average total productioncost was Rp.2.395.347. Thus, the average net income earned wasRp.6.604.653. The R/C Ratio obtained was 3.75, indicating thatevery Rp1 spent results in Rp3.75 in revenue. This means thatmaize farming is generally highly profitable and economicallyfeasible. However, a small proportion of farmers experiencedlosses, likely due to differences in land area, productivity, andfarming efficiency.The findings of this study are expected toserve as a reference for farmers and policymakers in formulatingstrategies to increase income and ensure sustainable farmingdevelopment in rural areas.Keywords: Maize, Income, Farming,Pasuruan
