FROM PRODUCTIVITY TO IMPACT PRODUCTIVITY: REDEFINING ORGANISATIONAL PERFORMANCE IN THE 21ST CENTURY
This paper advances the concept of Impact Productivity, a paradigm that redefines organisational productivity beyond efficiency, output, and profitability. It argues that modern productivity must integrate corporate social responsibility, employee wellbeing, market inclusivity, and government policy compliance. Drawing on cross-sector examples from manufacturing and agriculture to education, consultancy, distribution, and transportation the study shows how businesses can create value not only for shareholders but also for employees, customers, governments, and communities. By positioning impact productivity as the new benchmark for competitiveness, collaboration, and sustainability, the paper offers a framework for organisations to align performance with societal progress in the 21st century.
