Use of Digital Tools in Supporting Integrated Science Education in Nigeria

Background: the use of digital tools in supporting integrated science education in Nigeria has gained momentum over recent years. This shift is driven by the need to improve educational outcomes and bridge gaps in traditional teaching methods. Objective: to unravel the use of digital tools in supporting integrated science education in Nigeria. Method: the study adopted a structured methodology for an opinion paper which ensures that your opinion is presented clearly and persuasively following these steps, introduction, conceptual clarification, review of related literature, conclusion, recommendation, references. Result: the study uncovered that there is a low level of integration of digital tools in supporting integrated science education in Nigeria. Conclusion: Nigeria can harness the transformative potential of technology to improve the quality and accessibility of integrated science education. Unique Contribution: this study has offered unique insight on the use of digital tools in supporting integrated science education in Nigeria and implementation of a customized digital platform could integrate localized content, interactive simulations, and assessment tools that align with the Nigerian integrated science curriculum. Key Recommendation: policymakers should promote initiatives that ensure all students, regardless of socioeconomic background, have access to devices and internet connectivity necessary for digital learning.
