The Codex of Orchestrated Turbulence: A Geopolitical Framework for Analyzing Asymmetrical Destabilization Strategies in the Contemporary Era
This paper introduces and examines the "Codex of Orchestrated Turbulence," a conceptual framework delineating a set of geopolitical strategies allegedly employed by certain powerful nations to maintain global hegemony and control resources in emerging states. It posits that traditional warfare is increasingly supplanted by multifaceted destabilization tactics, including the fomenting of proxy conflicts, inducement of economic volatility, surreptitious support for radicalized elements, and manipulation of international aid and financial institutions. Further mechanisms encompass targeted assassinations, installation of compliant political regimes, imposition of sanctions, cyber warfare, and the propagation of specific narratives through media channels. Through an analysis of selected case studies, including conflicts in Ukraine, Libya, Iraq, and Afghanistan, alongside a geopolitical interpretation of recent events in Bangladesh, this paper explores the operationalization of such strategies. It also considers novel terminologies like "Turbulence Quotient," "Rhizomatic Insurgencies," and "Memetic Warfare" as analytical tools within this codex. The ethical ramifications of these tactics and their implications for international relations, particularly for nations in regions such as Asian countries, are also discussed [1], [9].
