DIFFICULTIES AND MODERN TECHNIQUES IN TEACHING FOREIGN LANGUAGE
Teaching foreign languages is a complex process that frequently poses a number of difficulties for both teachers and students. Different learners’ linguistic backgrounds, differing motivation levels, a lack of exposure to native speakers, and the challenges of learning grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary are examples of traditional barriers. Furthermore, the swift speed of globalization and technology development necessitates creative approaches to successfully handle these issues. To improve learning outcomes, contemporary methods of teaching foreign languages make use of pedagogy, psychology, and technology. Other modern strategies include gamification to maintain motivation, the incorporation of cultural elements to promote greater understanding, and the use of artificial intelligence-powered applications for adaptive learning and real-time feedback. Despite of these developments, issues like the need for teacher training in new approaches and gaps in digital literacy still exist. This essay examines the difficulties of teaching foreign languages and shows how contemporary methods overcome these obstacles to pave the way for more inclusive and successful language instruction.
