ASSESSING THE CONSEQUENCES OF THE UNENDING HOSTILITIES BETWEEN ISRAEL FORCES AND HEZBOLLAH ON REGIONAL SECURITY DYNAMICS
The enduring hostilities between Israel forces and Hezbollah have significant implications for regional security dynamics based on complex issue, driven by a combination of historical, ideological, and strategic factors. This study assesses the consequences of this conflict on regional and international security, exploring the impact on the Middle East peace process, the role of external actors, and the potential for escalation. This study employs a qualitative research approach, combining primary and secondary data sources, including official documents, academic literature, and expert interviews. The objective of this study is to investigate the consequences of this conflict on regional security, using a mixed-methods approach combining quantitative and qualitative data. This study adopts Realism, Constructivism, and Regional Security Complex Theory (RSCT). The theoretical framework will be integrated using a “Conflict Consequences Model”, which will guide the data collection and analysis. This theoretical framework will provide a comprehensive and systematic approach to assessing the consequences of the conflict between Israel forces and Hezbollah on regional security dynamics, and will contribute to the development of evidence-based policies and interventions for promoting regional stability and security. The study, in its findings suggests that the conflict has created opportunities for external Actors such as Iran and the United States, to exert influence in the region, potentially destabilizing the regional security landscape. To mitigate these consequences, it is essential to address the underlying drivers of the conflict, including the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the role of external actors
