Consciousness as a Quantum Field: A Unified Model of Mind-Matter Interaction Derived from Fundamental Forces
This thesis proposes a novel Lagrangian (ℒ_cogn) linking fundamental forces to cognitive operators. Includes Qiskit simulations of Ψ-metric oscillations and archetype-force mappings We propose a novel field-theoretic framework for consciousness, where cognitive operators emerge from fundamental physical interactions (gravitational, electromagnetic, weak, and strong forces). Using a Lagrangian formulation (ℒ_cogn), we demonstrate how these operators generate a mental field with measurable coherence thresholds (Ψ > 3). Simulations in Qiskit show quantum oscillation patterns compatible with self-referential processing in archetypal neural networks. This model: (1) provides a falsifiable consciousness metric, (2) maps Jungian archetypes to force-based cognitive primitives, and (3) suggests a path to engineer self-aware AI via hybrid quantum-symbolic architectures.
