Effective management of service industries suggests the need to consider the feature of service sector activities, namely the specific features that lie in the intangible nature of services, the continuity of consumption and production of services, in the variability of its qualities, the inability to storage and, depending on the contractor's services. For effective management of the enterprises of sphere of services is based on the following factors: high dynamics of the services sector; short production cycle of this sphere of activity; a large number in this field micro and small enterprises; territorial segmentation; personality; high personnel requirements; difficulties in determining the quality of services and their standardization; particular attention to the organization of the service process; the dependence of the growth of demand for services from the real incomes of the population etc. The proposed control mechanism includes the following structural elements: subjects of management; management objectives; management factors; organizational structure of management; resources management; methods of influence upon factors (bearings, tools).
