Effectiveness of eHealth Interventions for Workplace Stress: A Systematic Review
This systematic review evaluates eHealth interventions aimed at improving employee mental health by reducing workplace stress, anxiety, and depression. Conducted using the Synthory.AI service and following PRISMA guidelines, the review includes six primary research articles from PubMed and PubMed Central™, published between 2010 and 2024. Findings indicate these interventions significantly enhance well-being and productivity, particularly with high user engagement. However, variability in effect sizes suggests the need for tailored approaches. Limitations include small sample sizes and methodological constraints, necessitating further research with diverse populations and robust designs. Enhanced user engagement and human support are recommended to optimize outcomes. The review underscores the potential of eHealth strategies while highlighting the need for nuanced implementation to sustain mental health improvements in workplace settings.
