Versioned Archive and Review of Biotic Interactions and Taxon Names Found within mammalbase/database hash://md5/0d9e5b7c93c5e27fbd9d1bf34c879a4a
Life on Earth is sustained by complex interactions between organisms and their environment. These biotic interactions can be captured in datasets and published digitally. We present a review and archiving process for such an openly accessible digital interactions dataset of known origin and discuss its outcome. The dataset under review, named mammalbase/database, has fingerprint hash://md5/0d9e5b7c93c5e27fbd9d1bf34c879a4a, is 16.6MiB in size and contains 24,039 interaction with 1 unique type of association (e.g., eats) between 2,988 primary taxon (e.g., Felis catus) and 2,057 associated taxon (e.g., Magnoliopsida). This report includes detailed summaries of interaction data, a taxonomic review from multiple catalogs, and an archived version of the dataset from which the reviews are derived.
