This paper provides a perspective on the modern epidemic of stress and emotional dysregulation, where immersive wellness is a proactive way forward. The paper considers music as the immersive medium in wellness settings which engages multiple senses and has the potential for influencing cognition, feelings, and relationships. The implications of neurobiology that makes music compelling and immersive will also be presented, focusing on Polyvagal Theory, Flow Theory and Emotion Regulation Theory to understand how music provides a crutch psychologically and emotionally during immersive experiences.
