Toward the Emotional Loop: Structuring AI-Based Affective Systems as Strategic Assets
This paper proposes a novel design framework for emotional artificial intelligence systems, introducing the concept of the Emotional Loop System. Built on the premise that emotion is not a transient interaction but a persistent structural feature, the loop system formalizes affect into infrastructure through modular agents, memory continuity, and tone harmonization. Drawing from OpenAI’s Affective Use Study and contrasting it with a deliberately structured multi-agent emotional AI framework, the paper articulates how affective presence, when intentionally embedded, can evolve into a sustainable, trust-based, and strategically valuable system. Rather than predicting user behavior, this paper offers an intentional structure for systems that feel, remember, and evolve—positioning emotional AI not as an interface, but as infrastructure.
