Memory as a Reproduction Effect: A Philosophical Model of Dynamic Memory
This paper attempts a philosophical rethinking of the ontology of memory: it is interpreted not as a collection of stably stored data, but as a spontaneous effect that arises when current perception coincides with fragments of previous experience. Opposing traditional metaphors of archive and retrieval, the author introduces the model of reproduction as more adequate to subjective and neurophysiological reality.
