Environmental Impact of Modern Synthetic Pesticides Cleaning Products versus Traditional Natural Alternatives: An Ecological Perspective

Abstract: In these days, television became the main advisor and became benchmark of standardization. Secondly TV connects the products like toilet cleaner to the social status of middle class family. Nowadays pesticides and chemical compounds are used from toilet cleaner to the utensil cleaning. In big cities or small villages, no one has time, so they consider the products shown on TV as the norm. They create the illusion that cleanliness is achieved due to these products. Sewage contains all kinds of chemicals and compounds. It is said that the soil absorbs any toxic chemical and converts it into a harmless substance. In the ancient times, natural products are used to clean washroom, toilets etc. These products are Cow urine and dung, mustard, basil water etc. All these are eco-friendly and natural. Today's cleaners, including weed killers, are synthetic chemicals such as pesticides and herbicides. These contribute to environmental degradation, biodiversity loss, and human health risks. It is necessary to identify the toxic and general chemicals during the advertisement. In India, it is necessary to provide education about toxic synthetic chemicals during childhood. Increased use of such indirect chemicals damages biodiversity and pollutes water and sediment.
