Cloud-Based IoT System for Real-Time Water Quality Monitoring and Control System with Automation

Water Quality management is sought after to be curial significance over the last ten years. Because most of the diseases are propagated due to water contamination, periodic monitoring of water quality should be ensured. Various factors influence the quality of water, i.e., climate change, pollution, population growth etc. In order to prevent serious health problems through contaminated water, water quality management is significant. Internet of Things (IoT) is also among the sustainable methods employed for water quality management. Here in this paper a cloud based IoT system for monitoring and control of water quality in real-time is proposed. Here in this proposed system the water quality is monitored through Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) sensor which provide information regarding organic and inorganic compounds present in the water. In addition, a temperature sensor is employed to display temperature of water. The system gathers data from sensors and uploads sensor values to the cloud via a Wireless Fidelity (WiFi) Module using Node MCU. The System can be operated through mobile via Blynk app. This enables the system to be automated by maintaining the quality of water and the water level minimizing manual intervention
