Notes: Mesochelifer ressli was recorded for the first time in Bratislava. It was found under the bark of conifers in the botanical and urban gardens. The species is dendrophilous and was collected in Slovakia mainly under the bark of pine and larch trees, and one individual was extracted from the mould of a linden tree hollow (KrajčovičovÁ & Christophoryová 2014; Christophoryová et al. 2017b; ČervenÁ et al. 2020b). ČervenÁ et al. (2020b) also collected the species in other habitat types, namely in leaf litter and soil, and using a Malaise trap.
