IMMUNOLOGICAL PROFILE OF PEDIATRIC PATIENTS WITH ACUTE BRUCELLOSIS
In recent years, increasing attention has been directed toward the situation with brucellosis worldwide remains tense both in economically developed countries and in countries with weak economies. According to WHO, brucellosis is one of the five infectious diseases common to humans and animals that cause the greatest social and economic damage. It is known that brucellosis as a zoonotic infection occurs in regions where livestock farming is developed. In the former CIS countries, such regions include the Central Asian republics and Kazakhstan, including Uzbekistan, where a certain number of patients with a newly diagnosed brucellosis are registered annually, both among adults and among children, although the incidence rate among children is much lower compared to the incidence rates among adults (Amireev S.A., Grushina T.A., 2008; Valiev A.A., Azimov Sh.R., Valiev A.G. 2010; Valiev A.A., Kasymov I.A., Azimov Sh.R. 2010; Niyazova T.A. 2004; Yushchuk N.D., Akhmedova M.D., Vasyuk Yu.A., Khasaev A.Sh. 2009). In Russia, the epidemiological situation for brucellosis also remains tense (E.P. Lyapina, V.F. Spirin, F.F. Shuldyakov et al., 2011, and others). In connection with this, in all States with developed livestock farming, the problem of brucellosis remains unresolved and a comprehensive study of this disease is being conducted.
