'Integration is like a swearword to me': Belonging in Germany through the eyes of migrants

Written in relation to the new German government coalition agreement, published in April 2025, a policy paper on the topic of integration and migration in Germany. Its suggestions are based on ethnographic fieldwork and interviews with NGOs that support migrant and ethnic minority populations in Berlin, along with users of their services.
