ISLAM ON THE VIRTUES OF FRIDAY

The article is devoted to the topic «Sanctification of the days of the week in Islam». Based on the study of Muslim theological literature, the author reveals the significance of the days of the week in Islam. It is shown that any day of the week of a believer should be dedicated to finding the satisfaction of the Almighty. On all days of the week, Muslims are required to engage in godly activities. But Islam attaches special importance to Juma (Friday), the day of common prayer in the mosque. In Islam, it is believed that Allah's punishment increases for sins committed on this day, and the reward increases for a righteous life.
