An Essential Parameters of Anatomy of Lymph Node Include Structure, Functions, Embryology, Blood Supply, Different Types of Lymph Nodes and Clinical Significance
Lymphatic vessels and lymphoid organs, including the tonsils, spleen, lymph nodes, and thymus, make up the lymphatic system. These aid in cell recycling at the end of its life cycle, interstitial fluid filtration and drainage, and acquired and innate immunity. End-stage capillary fluid leakage is returned to the vascular system through the superficial and deep lymphatic vessels, which empty into the thoracic duct and the right lymphatic duct. The lymph from the right upper quadrant of the body is drained by the right lymphatic duct, which passes along the medial edge of the scalenus anterior muscle. The thoracic duct has a very varied architecture and negins at the cisterna chyli. At the jugulovenous angle, the thoracic duct empties into the left subclavian artery while the right lymphatic duct empties into the right.
