Universe Formation and Bubble Dynamics in the DEAR Liquid-Crystal Lattice Conjecture
Within the NRD/DEAR framework, our universe is a “bubble” nucleated within a pre-existing Liquid-Crystal Lattice (LCL) substrate. Heterogeneous nucleation off lattice defects can dramatically enhance bubble formation rates compared to homogeneous vacuum decay, suggesting that cosmos-bubbles are far more abundant than standard Coleman–de Luccia estimates. Once formed, each universe bubble maps its interior layering (fluid→smectic→columnar→crystalline) onto the LCL, while its causal horizon constitutes a 2D sheet defect interfacing with the external quantum-foam wash. Violent writes within one bubble (phase transitions, black-hole mergers) send lattice strain waves that can couple acausally to neighbouring bubbles, leaving faint gravitational or CMB-anisotropy “aftershocks.” We outline the conjecture, quantify the tunnelling enhancement, and propose observational strategies to detect inter-bubble signatures.
