A Model of Venture Collective Investment Institutions' Participation in Financing Renewable Energy Projects in Ukraine
The article explores the role of venture collective investment institutions (CIIs) in financing renewable energy projects in Ukraine in the context of post-war recovery. The author analyzes key barriers hindering international private capital involvement and substantiates the need to create specialized "green" CIIs aligned with ESG standards and global practices. A conceptual model is proposed that combines SPV structures, venture investment mechanisms, and institutional support to reduce risks and enhance sustainable finance flows. The model emphasizes transparency, flexibility, and international cooperation as essential components for mobilizing private capital in rebuilding Ukraine’s energy sector.
