DEVELOPING SOCIOCULTURAL SKILLS IN UZBEK THROUGH SONGS

This article analyzes the possibility of using song material to develop socio-cultural competence in students studying Uzbek as a foreign language. Particular attention is paid to developing an understanding of cultural customs and values through the analysis of song lyrics. Practical techniques and tasks based on the use of authentic Uzbek songs are proposed, which can be effectively applied in Uzbek language lessons.
