STATİSTİCAL ASSESSMENT OF THE İMPACT OF AGRİCULTURAL SUBSİDİES ON FARMERS' İNCOMES AND PRODUCTİVİTY İN AZERBAİJAN
Although agricultural subsidies offer farmers short-term financial stability, they call into question their long-term output and environmental effect. The study findings indicate that direct income support subsidies can be more fair and focused. This strategy guarantees effective resource use and helps to environmental protection. Aiming to grow high-value and export-oriented agriculture, Azerbaijan's subsidy plan for 2025 gives tea plantations, vineyards, and crops cultivated with contemporary irrigation top priority. Simultaneously, enhancing systems and equipping farmers with information should also be given first importance. Therefore, agricultural subsidies ought to be included in not only economic but also social and environmental policies.
