Policy and driver scenarios of forest biodiversity conservation and restoration in Europe
This project report presents explorative policy and drivers scenarios based on foresight methodology developed and applied in the BIOCONSENT project (https://www.bioconsent.eu/). This inter- and trans-disciplinary research project aims to provide decision-making support for forest biodiversity conservation and restoration policy and management in Europe. A specific aim is to provide novel knowledge about trade-offs and synergies between policies, targets and management practices at the forest-biodiversity-climate-water nexus. In this report, a set of 15 scenario narratives (storylines) and their summaries (futures tables) are provided. Altogether, this report presents a set of three scenarios for the EU level and one set of three scenarios each for Bulgaria, Germany, Spain and Sweden.
