The formation of intergenerational relations in the children's theater
This article examines the complex and multifaceted process of forming intergenerational relationships in the context of children’s theater. The work considers the children’s theater not only as a platform for artistic expression and the development of creative abilities, but also as a unique socio-cultural environment where active interaction takes place between representatives of different generations. The specific characteristics of this interaction are analyzed, due to both the organizational structure of the theater (including experienced teachers, directors, young actors and viewers of different age groups) and the content of theatrical productions, which often touch on the themes of family, history and the connection of times. Special attention is paid to studying the mechanisms of transmission of cultural experience from the older generation to the younger through theatrical art, as well as identifying the potential of children’s theater in forming a respectful attitude to the history, traditions and values of different generations. The article offers a critical analysis of existing approaches to organizing intergenerational interactions in children’s theater and substantiates the need to develop new, more effective strategies aimed at strengthening ties between generations, fostering a sense of belonging to the past and responsibility for the future. In conclusion, practical recommendations are offered on optimizing the activities of children’s theaters in order to strengthen their role in the formation of positive intergenerational relations in society.
