Helical Electromagnetic Field Dynamics: A Spiral-Wound Extension to Maxwellian Formalism

This paper presents a novel extension to classical electromagnetism by embedding electromagnetic (EM) wave dynamics within a spiral wound geometry. By interpreting field propagation as a helical structure oscillating across forward and retrograde time domains, we derive an augmented form of Maxwell’s equations and formulate a Lagrangian that incorporates curvature, azimuthal twist, and radial memory. We establish formal connections between our spiral phase formalism and quantum wave functions, provide mathematical grounding for a new form of signal modulation based on the time-coherence constant Ki, and develop explicit field solutions that demonstrate “wound channel” behavior. This leads to a richer understanding of signal propagation, polarization, and resonance encoding, offering new avenues for 3D signal modulation and potentially unlocking methods of energy transfer or resonance manipulation not accessible through flat models.
