Life as an Instrument of Entropy: An Evolutionary Approach to Aging
According to the second law of thermodynamics, entropy in isolated systems always increases. This paper explores the hypothesis that life serves as a mechanism for accelerating energy dissipation, thereby contributing to the increase in entropy. We analyze the role of evolution in this process and discuss how this hypothesis explains the phenomenon of aging. Additionally, we explore prospective approaches to slowing aging through energy management, including the potential of biosynthesized mitochondria and thymus regeneration.
