ORGANIZING INDEPENDENT STUDY THROUGH CONTENT AND LANGUAGE INTEGRATED LEARNING (CLIL) IN HIGH SCHOOL FOREIGN LANGUAGE CLASSROOMS
This thesis investigates the integration of Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) into independent study within high school foreign language classrooms, expanding upon the theoretical groundwork laid by scholars like Jamal Jalalovich and N.D. Galskova. It explores strategies designed to cultivate student autonomy in language acquisition while simultaneously deepening their understanding of subject matter. The research reveals that CLIL significantly promotes independent learning, sharpens critical thinking skills, and demonstrably improves linguistic competence, positioning it as a highly valuable pedagogical approach for secondary education.
