Cybersecurity in Global Supply Chains: Risks, Regulations, and Emerging Technologies (Version 2)
This is Version 2 of my research paper on cybersecurity in global supply chains, originally developed as part of graduate coursework in Engineering Management. The updated version expands the literature review with recent academic studies, integrates case studies on the SolarWinds (2020) and NotPetya (2017) cyberattacks, and provides a structured framework for analyzing risks, regulations, and emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, and blockchain. It also introduces new sections on building a cybersecurity culture and discusses limitations and future research directions. This revision reflects ongoing academic development and offers a more comprehensive analysis of how cybersecurity has become a strategic imperative for resilience, competitiveness, and trust in global supply chains.
