New European Bauhaus Academy - NEBAP Hub, NEBA Alliance, North Hub, and Outreach Hub
The growing interest in timber construction, new technologies and potential applications for wood products pose new challenges for the workforce and skills in the timber construction sector. Interdisciplinary training, continuous education and lifelong learning programmes are becoming increasingly important. Platforms such as the New European Bauhaus Academy (NEBA) offer innovative approaches for new forms of knowledge transfer. The NEBA Alliance consortium has initiated a network of regional hubs, which bring together multiple education and training actors across European countries. In this presentation, the NEBAP Hub, the North Hub and the European Outreach Hub are introduced. The European Wood Policy Platform "WoodPoP" organised the session “Prologue V - Perspectives of the New European Bauhaus Academy on education and training in the timber construction sector” at the Internationales Holzbau Forum (IHF) in Innsbruck, Austria, on 4 Dec 2024. The session was co-hosted by the "NEBA Alliance" project supported by CBE JU and its members under Horizon Europe grant no. 101160532. More info: woodpop.eu | neb.academy
