COKE SPILLAGE IN THE PARTITIONS OF RING-TYPE ANODE ROASTING FURNACES
The article focuses on the analysis of coke spillage in the partitions of ring-type anode roasting furnaces. The causes of coke spillage, its impact on temperature distribution in the furnace, and methods for preventing this phenomenon are considered. The primary factors, such as the physical properties of the coke, the structural features of the furnace, and operational parameters influencing coke spillage, are analyzed. The article presents mathematical models and equations describing the spillage process and its effect on roasting efficiency. Experimental data are provided to support the modeling results, and recommendations are made to optimize furnace design and operating conditions to minimize coke spillage.
