HARMONIZING LANGUAGE LEARNING: THE ROLE OF SONGS IN EFL CLASSROOM
Abstract. This article explores the application of songs in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classroom, focusing on the linguistic and methodological benefits that song-based learning brings to language acquisition. Drawing from theoretical perspectives and empirical studies, including research by Uzbek scholars, this study examines the impact of song-based practice on vocabulary retention, pronunciation accuracy, and cultural awareness. Findings indicate that integrating songs enhances learners' engagement and improves linguistic competence through rhythmic and melodic reinforcement.
