Biological characteristics of Tecoma stans (L.) Juss. ex Kunth introduced in the conditions of the Middle Urals

The paper presents research data on the introduction of Tecoma stans (L.) Juss. ex Kunth in adjoining culture in a temperate continental climate (Middle Urals). It was revealed that the plant can have two flowering waves – the period from August to September and from November to January. During the first flowering wave in the open ground of a temperate continental climate, it sets fruits and forms viable seeds with satisfactory sowing qualities that can be used for propagation of the crop.
