Though we are in Kali Yuga according to Hindu Mythology, this paper focuses on management and leadership styles for the first three Yuga. Taking cases from Sat Yuga to Dwapar Yuga we have seen various leadership paradigms with changing scenario. Leaders of Sat Yuga comprised primarily sages and philosopher kings who governed on prime principle of Dharma (righteousness) which further changed to complex political and moral landscape till Dwapar Yuga. The three Yuga viz., Sat Yuga, Treta Yuga and Dwapar Yuga gave mankind various literatures like Vedas, Upanashidas, Ramayana and Mahabharata respectively. The Sat Yuga leadership prominently based on ethical governance and further declined human-centric leadership in the recent past. The lessons from ancient Indian leadership models underscore the importance of integrity, adaptability and strategic thinking in navigating ethical dilemmas in modern governance and management.
