FEATURES OF MATHEMATICAL DEVELOPMENT OF PRESCHOOL CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES

Abstract In the context of modern educational processes aimed at the comprehensive development of each child, particular attention is paid to children with disabilities. The author notes that an important task of preschool educational institutions is to create conditions that will allow children with disabilities to successfully master basic mathematical concepts. The article discusses the peculiarities of forming mathematical representations in children of this category, as well as methods and approaches that contribute to effective learning in preschool. The study of the peculiarities of forming mathematical representations in preschool children with disabilities is relevant and necessary for the improvement of the educational process within the framework of an inclusive approach. The practical significance of the article is determined by its contribution to improving educational practices in preschool institutions that work with children with disabilities. The methodological recommendations presented in the paper can be used by preschool educators to develop and implement programs aimed at developing mathematical representations in children with various types of health limitations. Applying the described methods and approaches in practice will increase the effectiveness of teaching, improve the results of mastering mathematical concepts, and promote the social adaptation of children with disabilities. As a result, the article may become an important resource for specialists in the field of preschool education working in inclusive groups, as well as for parents of children with disabilities who are interested in supporting and developing their children's mathematical skills.
