Natural Quantum Selection: A New Approach to Fine-Tuning

This paper introduces the theory of Natural Quantum Selection (NQS), which proposes that universes with stable quantum interference patterns persist while unstable ones fade away. NQS provides a novel solution to the fine-tuning problem without requiring a multiverse. A mathematical framework is developed using a modified path integral approach, and testable predictions—including the 80% stability rule—are presented. This theory offers a new perspective on quantum stability, cosmology, and the selection of physical constants.

Abstract

This paper introduces the theory of Natural Quantum Selection (NQS), which proposes that universes with stable quantum interference patterns persist while unstable ones fade away. NQS provides a novel solution to the fine-tuning problem without requiring a multiverse. A mathematical framework is developed using a modified path integral approach, and testable predictions—including the 80% stability rule—are presented. This theory offers a new perspective on quantum stability, cosmology, and the selection of physical constants.
