Mangudi Marudhanar describes in Madurai Kanchi that everyone from the king to the army commander has used clothes and accessories in a special way. The clothes and accessories of the people are an expression of their culture. This article attempts to examine the cultural expression of the people through the Madurai Kanchi from a sociological and historical research approach.
