Migrating and Securing BDTNS

This document describes the migration process of the largest existing database of Sumerian text transliterations from an outdated server to a modern infrastructure. The migration involved preserving specific versions of the technologies used on the original server, such as PHP, Apache, and MySQL, to ensure compatibility and proper system functionality. The challenge was to transfer this environment to a more current platform without compromising access to historical data or database functionality.
