COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF CALF REARING AND THEIR WELFARE IN SELECTED FARMS IN UKRAINE

The article presents the results of a comparative analysis of the rearing of young cattle in selected farms in the Dnipro and Kharkiv regions of Ukraine specialising in commercial milk production and their compliance with the requirements of national legislation and international animal welfare directives. The research showed that both farms comply with basic animal welfare standards.
