Summary. Inochentism is a movement, „sect” founded around 1910 by Ioan Țurcanu/Levizor (also known as Father Inochentie). Even after his death in 1917, the inochentist movement did not cease, and even expanded, the brothers in faith waiting for the „time of judgment”. The article presents the result of the interview with Elisaveta Tomoianu, inochentist from Andrushul de Sus village, Cahul district, referring to her life and choices: joining the inochentist movement, conviction and lonely old age.Key words: Inochentism, Elisaveta Tomoianu, „New Jerusalem”, christian, Andrushul de Sus, Cahul, Republic of Moldova
