Advancing Research Integrity and Discoverability with PIDs

Persistent Identifiers (PIDs), such as those issued by DataCite DOIs, play a crucial role in enhancing research integrity and discoverability. PIDs provide unique and stable identifiers for research outputs, ensuring accurate attribution and facilitating reliable citation. By integrating PIDs into research workflows, researchers can improve the transparency, reproducibility, and impact of their work. DataCite, through its global, open infrastructure and community engagement, actively supports the adoption and implementation of PIDs across various research domains and regions.In his presentation, Mohamad Mostafa highlighted the importance of PIDs and DataCite in advancing research integrity and discoverability.
