LASERS IN THE TREATMENT OF CAPILLARY HEMANGIOMA OF THE SKIN

We analyzed the results of treatment of 36 patients with capillary - squamous hemangiomas of the skin in Shoch-med and Rasad clinics from 2020-2022. The age of the patients varied greatly from a few months after birth to 21 years of age. Gs were much more common in girls (69.44%) than in boys. The most frequent localization of Gs was the facial region - 61.14% . In 11.1% of cases Gs had a combined character. Methods of research: photo-documentation of the macro-picture of G., assessment of the uniformity of the lesion area, size, quantitative colorimetry. Skin ultrasound was performed to clarify residual blood flow in under-treated or progressive G. Objective: to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment of capillary hemangiomas of the skin using IR-emitters and lasers. Results: When using high-energy lasers in the treatment of squamous hemangiomas of the skin, an important point is that G destruction may be accompanied by scar transformation of the skin of various degrees of severity. The greatest skin changes developed after AIG-laser exposure, the best cosmetic effect was achieved with the use of pulsed light-emitting IPL , but the latter is less effective in the removal of skin hemangiomas. Conclusions: - capillary squamous hemangiomas of the skin occur as primary pathology and due to untreated residual forms. - High-energy IR lasers are highly effective in the treatment of hemangiomas, however, they are accompanied by scar transformation of the skin of various degrees of severity.
