Why Do East Asians Speak English Like Absolute Idiots?
This paper presents a structural hypothesis for why East Asian speakers face biomechanical resistance when acquiring English phonation. The analysis traces the contrast between Germanic and East Asian vocal systems, focusing on pressure origin, resonance flow, and glottal control. Through anatomical mapping and bilingual observation (n=7), it reframes accent not as imitation, but as structural consequence—shaped by diaphragm, glottis, and nasopharynx. The work defines fluency as a result of internal breath-rhythm alignment, not symbolic repetition.
